Authorities have released limited additional information following a fatal incident involving a student at Sarah Lawrence College in Westchester County, which is being investigated as a suicide.
According to Yonkers Police, officers and emergency responders were called to the Sarah Lawrence College campus on Mead Way in Bronxville on Tuesday morning, Feb. 10, after a student was found unresponsive. The student was pronounced dead at the scene. Police later confirmed that the incident is being investigated as a suicide.
Officials have not released the student’s identity, citing privacy concerns, nor have they provided further details regarding the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation remains ongoing, though authorities indicated there is no threat to public safety.
